How long can I rent a boat in Austin?
We offer flexible rental times, from half-day (4 hours) to full-day boat rentals (8 hours) on Lake Travis and Lake Austin. Whether you’re planning a few hours of wakeboarding or a full-day family outing, we can tailor your experience to fit your schedule.
Is gratuity included?
All our rentals include an experienced captain to make sure you have a safe, fun and memorable lake day! For your convenience the 20% Captain’s Fee is automatically added to your final total at check-out.
What is your Cancellation policy?
75% refund of offer amount up to 7 days prior to booking date. After this date, no refunds will be issued for any cancellations or NO SHOWS. Customers may request to reschedule for 100% credit towards the new booking date.
Customers will also receive a refund in case of operator cancellation due to severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Cancellations due to severe weather are determined at the start time of the rental and based on the current conditions at the lake and not in other areas of Austin. We do not cancel or make advanced decisions based on the forecast.
If severe weather prevents us from completing your reservation as planned, we will only charge for the time on the boat. Wake Thrills operates rain or shine!
Contact us by phone or email to cancel, inquire about a cancellation or changes in reservations. No-shows will be charged the full price.
Can I bring my pet?
We love furry friends, pet allowance is based on the size of pet and the rental boat. Please contact us to inquire!
Can we bring food and alcoholic beverages?
We love both, so yes! NO GLASS CONTAINERS - Please make sure to bring plastic drinking containers and dry foods/snacks only. Trash bins will be available onboard.
